Where do I park?
Street parking is available on North and South Road and Gannon.
Are you kosher?
No, we use small suppliers that are not certified kosher and therefore we cannot obtain kosher certification. This has been confirmed by Rabbi Zaravin.
Are you an allergen-free restaurant?
No, nuts and wheat are used in our facility. If you have any food allergies, please tell us before placing your order.
Do you carry local products?
Yes, our breads come from Companion and Black Bear bakeries. We use them because they offer the best artisan breads in town that are also preservative free. Other local items include: tempeh, honey, horseradish, tofu and seasonal fruits, veggies, herbs and cleaners.
Are you an organic restaurant?
No, we purchase organic items when we can.
Are you a 100% vegan restaurant?
No, we serve dairy and eggs.
What is raw?
Raw foods are items that are prepared at 118º or less to keep digestive enzymes in tact so you get the most nutrient dense foods possible. At the deli, our raw foods are prepared no hotter than 115º.
Do you microwave food?
Absolutely not; there is no microwave on premise!
Can you cater?
Yes, please contact Natasha to discuss your catering needs.
Do you teach food demonstration classes?
Not at this time, however if you are interested in learning about vegetarian, vegan or raw food preparation, please let us know.
Do you put ice in your smoothies?
No, we use frozen fruit so you get the most for your buck.
Do you have sugar?
We offer healthier sugar alternatives: raw agave nectar, maple syrup and stevia.
Do you serve breakfast?
Not yet, we plan on offering a small breakfast menu in the future.
Do you deliver?
No, but we plan on offering delivery to University City and Clayton in the future.
Do you compost?
Absolutely! We use Blue Skies Recycling for all our composting and recycling.
Do you recycle?
Yes! Everything at the deli is either recycled or composted. The only thing we put in a regular trash container is restroom trash.
Your to-go cups are compostable, but I don't compost. What do I do?
These cups can also be recycled as long as your recycling allows #7 items.
